I have suffered this problem (lost ball) on the odd occasion over the last 2 years. However, it has happened for the last 4 games in a row at the early stages too. If I can't find a cure I'm going to have to bin the darned thing! Any suggestions, please?

Is there any way to recover a lost ball? I am one brick away from finishing the first cycle with 20 lives, and the ball went "out of bounds" at the top of the screen. Is there any way to get the game restarted short of starting a new game?
